Invoice clients for podiatry appointments, nail surgery, and specialist foot care. Professional invoices from Tidybill.
A podiatrist invoice covers assessment and treatment of foot and lower limb conditions including routine nail care, callus and corn treatment, verruca treatment, nail surgery, diabetic foot assessments, biomechanical assessments, and orthotic prescriptions. Podiatrists are regulated by the HCPC in the UK, and HCPC registration must appear on professional invoices. Podiatry services by HCPC-registered podiatrists are VAT-exempt. Routine nail care and general foot care without a therapeutic clinical purpose may not qualify for the medical VAT exemption. Private health insurance covers podiatry under some policies. Custom orthotics are a separate supply item and should be invoiced as a product, not a service.
| Service | Typical Rate | Unit |
|---|---|---|
| Podiatry assessment and treatment (45 min) | 60 | session |
| Nail surgery (first nail) | 300 | procedure |
| Biomechanical assessment | 90 | assessment |
| Custom orthotics supply (pair) | 300 | pair |
| Diabetic foot assessment | 70 | assessment |
| Verruca treatment (cryotherapy) | 50 | treatment |
Issue invoices after each appointment. HCPC number must appear on all clinical invoices. Podiatry treatment by registered podiatrists is VAT-exempt. Custom orthotics are a product supply; check with your accountant whether the supply and prescription together qualify for exemption. Net immediate for private patients.
